Phi Global Farms works to address needs of distressed communities, particularity in urban settings. We use agricultural based educational systems to promote our mission to “End poverty, promote health and wellness.” We work with youth groups and individual families to create enriching experiences to educate, empower, and engage the community.
Spring Break at Phi Global Farms
Over Spring Break we planted seedlings at Phi Global Farms. We started our plants from seeds in February. Now we are transplanting them to be ready to plant in the garden in about a month. The day was gorgeous and inside the hoop house was very comfortable.

The Urban Farm School is committed to working in the community, to end poverty, promote health and wellness by educating the community through urban farming. We share knowledge, resources, and access to healthy food. Any group can come out and learn how to farm! Come get your hands dirty and learn about soil, how to seed, cultivation, harvesting, and composting. We can accommodate groups of adults & children.
